Admission includes the petting zoo and the playground. The hay wagon tour is optional — pay at the gate. We accept cash and credit card. Season passes are available at a discount if you plan to visit more than a couple of times — see the season passes page.
How to get here
We're in Caro, in the Thumb region of Michigan. Getting to us is easy from the surrounding cities:
- From Bay City: about 45 minutes east on M-25 and M-81.
- From Saginaw: roughly 50 minutes northeast.
- From Flint: about 90 minutes northeast via I-75 and M-81.
- From Detroit: approximately 2 hours north.
What to bring
- Close-toed shoes you don't mind getting dusty.
- A hat and sunscreen in summer. Layers and something windproof in spring and fall.
- Water — there is shade, but Michigan summers get hot.
- A camera or phone with room on it. You'll use both.
- Snacks or a packed lunch if you'd like. We don't run a full concession.
A few rules
- No personal pets, please. Service animals welcome.
- Only feed what we hand out. Outside food for the animals is not OK, no matter how organic it is.
- Stay on the marked paths and with the wagon on the tour.
- No smoking or vaping on the ranch.
Accessibility
The petting zoo, playground, and general visitor area are on level ground and manageable with strollers. The hay wagon has a step up that can be tough for some guests with mobility limitations. Pleasecall us ahead if you have any concerns and we'll do our best to accommodate.
